Setup

• Add contacts to Boomea
• Select a contact by searching phone number, name or add new contact
• If phone number is not in contacts the edit contact page comes up to add new
• When multiple phone numbers/names associated to the same number all numbers or all contacts with that number will be listed
• Channels are the items (list) that shows up under Text Messages on Boomea page
• Removing channels from the list done by Xing out but this does not remove the history of that number/contact
• Number in the icon means unread messages
• Add channel by entering phone number or adding from Contact list
• Editing the Contact can remove the name from number or remove the SMS history (3 dots upper right)
• Changing in SMS will not change contact info in contact list
• Add phone number to contact by selecting contact to add to
• New contact will add to contact list

Texting

• Files size is the same as what can be sent by phone text messaging
• Desktop notifications enabled through settings
• Not a no reply text messaging system - text messages must be managed
• Not a paid one-way messaging platform - normal two-way texting
• No automated or automatic messaging capabilities – manual one at a time text – no group texting
• 2000 character limit per text – counts as multiple text message gets broken up in small messages
