Record Over Phone

• Dial into the menu needing recorded

<aside> 💡 Time of day routing applies, menu must be active to access. Access an open menu during assigned open business hours or a closed menu during assigned closed business hours.

• Immediately enter menu assigned PIN without the # sign
  • Contact account administrator or Advance Office Solutions Telecom Team for the assigned PIN
• Follow the prompts to record new greeting
• Once saved this will overwrite original menu greeting

Record On Computer

Creating a media file enables it to reside in the portal for easy adjustment between recordings.

There are many options, paid and free, to record greetings for upload to the account portal. All require a computer with an external microphone.

The following workflow can be accomplished without purchasing additional hardware and software

Access the Audacity Web Page

Home

• Download the appropriate operating system version under the downloads tab on the home page.
• Install Audacity on the computer
• Open the Audacity app

• Record script by pressing the red record button
• Stop recording by pressing the grey stop button
• Listen to recording by pressing the green play button
• When satisfied with the recording, save it by selecting File → Export Audio
